Payment Information
When you purchase StageHUD, payment is processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy collects billing information (name, billing address, card details) on their PCI-compliant checkout. StageHUD does not receive, store, or process payment card details.
Information the StageHUD Application Does NOT Collect
We are committed to total transparency regarding what StageHUD does not do:
- StageHUD does not record, transmit, or store audio from your Kemper Player.
- StageHUD does not transmit MIDI data from your Kemper Player to external servers.
- StageHUD does not track playing habits, rig choices, or musical performance.
- StageHUD does not use advertising cookies, Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising tools. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect privacy-focused page-view and performance metrics. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local browser storage to track visitors.
All MIDI communication between StageHUD and your Kemper Player stays 100% local to your device via USB MIDI.

- To manage the launch waitlist: Using your email to confirm interest and notify you when StageHUD becomes available.

- Cloudflare — Receives your device fingerprint, license activation data, IP address (via infrastructure logging), and privacy-focused page-view and performance metrics (via Cloudflare Web Analytics) for license verification, DDoS protection, and site performance monitoring.
- Google (Gmail) — Receives your email address and the content of support communications for support email delivery and customer communication.
5. Cookies & Local Browser Storage
StageHUD does not use advertising cookies, Google Analytics, or tracking pixels. The StageHUD Web App uses local browser storage (IndexedDB / localStorage) strictly for functional performance:
- Caching license activation so StageHUD reopens offline
- Storing encrypted runtime configuration bundles for offline application use
- Saving user interface preferences (polling mode, layout toggles)
- Enabling the 90-day offline grace period
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
- License Purchase Records: Retained for the lifetime of your license plus accounting/tax retention mandates (typically 7 years).
- Support Messages: Retained for approximately 3 years to maintain support history.
- Deauthorized Licenses: When you deauthorize a device or a license is transferred, historical activation logs may be retained for up to 12 months to support fraud prevention and license integrity.
7. Security Measures
Security protections include HTTPS/TLS encryption across all endpoints, Cloudflare Web Application Firewall, PCI-DSS compliant checkout through Lemon Squeezy, and minimal data collection principles.
